A for Anarchy

by Intifada, January 30th, 2007

1024 x 768 | 1280 x 1024 | 1600 x 1200

Comments:
Just some kind of spoof of the official V for Vendetta wallpaper, because the movie was highly censured regarding the theme and goals of Anarchy, the word is not once heard in the whole scenario, and that’s probably because it scares people. Everything is deviated from Anarchy to “freedom fighter”, and it displeases a lot of us D:
anyways check the website if you want to learn more! Yay

This is from a new series airing this season. It’s the type of wall that you feel like doing at the spur of the moment. But this also got to be the type of wall you don’t remember saving during the Photoshopping and you end up loosing when everything is close to finished. Like woot said, this is what happens when you think you’re safe with a mac .. Enjoy
N.B. Only the widescreen resolution has birdies in XD

I never thought I’d actually re-work on the old psd to finish my double monitor res project, but here goes. N.B. The 1600×900 resolution doesn’t have any mountains in since it’s too shorty, but the 2 other ratios do.

Weatherman Underground

Comments:
This is a famous photo of the 70’s Days of Rage riots in Chicago, organised by the SDS terrorist faction called the Weatherman. Their group was named after lyrics by Bob Dylan from the song Subterranean Homesick Blues. They were fighting against Viet-Nam war with the slogan Bring the war home. You should watch the documentary if you’re interested in revolutionary student’s movements.

Comments:
A simple and clean vector of a 1900’s poster advertising Absinthe, makes a great desktop! Contact me if you would like a version of a different colour. I probably will buy an artbook featuring a LOT of posters like this sooner or later. When that happens this site will be spammed with vintage galore <3.

I am so proud of this wallpaper. It’s always been a style I was afraid to try out, because I’m not artistically spontaneous really. But damn I think I nailed it oh ho ho.
